Financial District

The Neighborhood

Although mostly frequented by professionals, Boston’s Financial District offers beautiful historic sites and delicious restaurants for anyone to enjoy. Experience American history up close and personal and head out to the Freedom Trail, a 2.5 mile, self-guided tour that leads you through iconic landmarks that represent some of the nation’s more formative years. One of the stops along this tour leads you to Faneuil Hall, where America’s original pushcart shopping began. Offering more than just hand-crafted souvenirs, this marketplace hosts world-class street performers and eclectic boutiques. Once you’ve worked up enough an appetite, you must indulge at Cafe Fleuri’s one-of-a-kind Chocolate Bar buffet; the cuisine is American, but the experience is out of this world.

The Financial District has plenty to offer within walking distance. Try out Vanderbilt Kitchen & Bar or U&D Kitchen for some of Boston's best dining. For shopping head over to Copley Place on Huntington Ave. To discover the rest of the city just hop on the bus at Pearl St at High St station.
