Lincoln Park

The Neighborhood

With its historic landmark districts, brick row houses, and tree-lined streets, Lincoln Park is as charming as Chicago gets. Sitting along Lake Michigan, this leafy North Side neighborhood is home to restaurants, boutique shops, cafes, and live music clubs, where young professionals mix with the hip college crowd from nearby DePaul University. During the day, the neighborhood’s sprawling namesake park—with its gardens, paths, museums, and beaches—provides a welcome respite from the hustle-bustle of the big city.

There’s plenty to offer within walking distance. Try out Prost, the best beer-hall with oversized pretzels or our favorite fried chicken at The Budlong for some of Chicago's best dining. For shopping, check out the indie shops and boutiques along Armitage Avenue. Take the 'L" to explore the rest of the city.
