Lincoln Park

The Neighborhood

With its historic landmark districts, brick row houses, and tree-lined streets, Lincoln Park is as charming as Chicago gets. Sitting along Lake Michigan, this leafy North Side neighborhood is home to restaurants, boutique shops, cafes, and live music clubs, where young professionals mix with the hip college crowd from nearby DePaul University. During the day, the neighborhood’s sprawling namesake park—with its gardens, paths, museums, and beaches—provides a welcome respite from the hustle-bustle of the big city.

There's plenty to offer within walking distance. Grab a slice of pizza and a beer in a lodge-style pizzeria, called Homeslice. Or build your own burger at Butcher & The Burger. For shopping, check out Market Square Shopping Center. To explore the rest of the city, just hop on the metro at Fullerton & Southport station.
