The Lower Garden District (LGD), developed in the early 19th century, boasts elegant mansions and the grand Coliseum Square. It's a vibrant neighborhood with a funky commercial zone, including restaurants, galleries, boutiques and salons.

There’s plenty to offer within walking distance. Head to Atchafalaya for a creative Louisiana cuisine and a drink from their Bloody Mary bar. Or try Mahony's Po-Boys & Seafood for a classic New Orleans Po'boy. For shopping, check out the Canal Place. To explore the rest of the city, hop on the bus at the Magazine and Milan station just a short walk away.
