The Neighborhood

Known as the University District, Audubon is a beautiful neighborhood in Uptown New Orleans and home to Tulane and Loyola Universities. Live like a local and stop by one of the many cafés, shops, and restaurants, where you’ll see plenty of students, joggers, and bikers doing the same. Between Audubon Park, one of the largest in New Orleans, and the zoo or golf course, there's never a shortage of things to do in this beautiful area.

There’s plenty to offer within walking distance. Head to Atchafalaya for a creative Louisiana cuisine and a drink from their Bloody Mary bar. Or try Mahony's Po-Boys & Seafood for a classic New Orleans Po'boy. For shopping, check out the Canal Place. To explore the rest of the city, hop on the bus at the Magazine and Milan station just a short walk away.
