There's plenty to offer within walking distance. For some of New Orleans' best dining options, try August for an elegant French fare, or dine in style at Commander's Palace and enjoy delicious Creole. After dinner, head to Carousel Bar inside the Hotel Monteleone for a drink at the revolving bar. For shopping, check out the Shops At Jax Brewery. You're also close to Woldenberg Park, which features great views of the Mississippi River. To explore the rest of the city, head to St. Charles at Union and grab the streetcar.
