The Neighborhood

Little Italy was originally an Italian fishing neighborhood. Today, it's full of Italian restaurants and shops, home design stores, and art galleries. Don't miss the weekly farmers market, also known as the Mercato.

There's plenty to offer within walking distance. Try Ironside Fish & Oyster or Juniper & Ivy for some of San Diego's best dining. For shopping, head to Seaport Village and check out the shops along the waterfront. To explore the rest of the city, head to the County Center/Little Italy station just a few blocks away.
