The neighborhood

Polanco

West of Mexico City's bustling historic center, Polanco tranquilly sits just above the expansive city park, Bosque de Chapultepec. While quaintly referred to as Polanquito, one of the most luxurious streets in the city, Avenida Presidente Masaryk, runs through the heart of this opulent area. Take an idyllic stroll through Parque Lincoln, or ramble along the tree-lined avenues while marveling at the architectural melange of neocolonial mansions and sleek apartments. Renowned for its decadent dining options and upscale retail offerings, Polanco is also home to an impressive array of cultural institutions, like the Auditorio Nacional, Anthropology Museum, or art museums Jumex and Soumaya. As the sun goes down on CDMX, allow yourself to indulge in the extravagant nightlife of Polanco's lavish restaurants and bars.
