How do I cancel my stay?

You can cancel in the Sonder app  or on the My Stays page of our website by selecting "Manage Reservation". If your stay has started and you need to leave early, you can also shorten your reservation through the app. Go to “Edit reservation” and then “Change dates”.

For most reservations made directly through Sonder.com, you can cancel your reservation up to 3 days before your check-in and receive a full refund. 

Stays booked prior to March 13th, 2020 are only eligible for a cash refund if cancelled 14+ days before check-in. Stays booked under an economy rate are non-refundable. For long term stays (paid in monthly installments), we require at least 30 days notice to cancel or modify without fees.

A 24-hour grace period applies for all stays before check-in begins.
