LIVN - Millennium Park Downtown Chicago Reviews
Great location. Great room. Very clean. Some ammenities were off. Toiletpaper holder was very loose. However, this was a fantastic stay and we will go back.
I found this type of stay to be new & interesting to me & would be a place I’d consider booking again in the future. I liked how it was a short walk to a lot of the tourist attractions. The only complaint I have is that my AC stopped working after my first night there & learn from my lesson, if you come across that same issue, I would try & reach out to someone about that instead of leaving it like I did.
Everything was as advertised.

Stayed in room 408. Enjoyed my time very much. Has everything you need for a one week stay. The kitchenette came in very useful, which is the main reason i chose this property, and spent the extra money. No view out of the window, except of the next building. It's helpful to shut the shade as the next building is a window into a bathroom. 😐 Not noisy at all, with windows shut, so i didn't need the sound machine or ear plugs. Bathroom came with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and bar of soap. Property is in the heart of Chicago, so you can walk to all main attractions with others only a 15 min drive away. I had my own car, so i didn't use, or know how to use the train or public transportation. I also used Lyft. Overall, great stay that exceeded my needs! Tv came in clear too and good Wifi connection 😃
Too noisy because of the subway
Everything was nice. Especially having the ability to do our own laundry
This is a nice place to stay, in a centrally located part of Chicago near lots of transit, etc. Be warned that this is not a traditional hotel with a lobby and other amenities. It is basically your own apartment, and you have a sign-in code for the front door and elevator. There is no one on staff in person who is there, except for a cleaning crew that comes through when you check out. There's also very limited places to hang out that are not the place that you've rented for your stay. It's absolutely fine -- it's just not a traditional hotel. If you're expecting to have someone there to help you find your way around the city or recommend things, this is not for you. Or if you are expecting a gym or other amenities, same thing. If you want a nice, large, comfortable place to stay that is clean and reasonably safe and doesn't cost a fortune, this is a good option.
The location was perfect and having a washer/dryer came in handy.
I got into town around 10am and went straight to the building to try to snag a locker. It is right next to the el on Wabash so a quick ride from Midway. The lockers were all full but a staff member was able to store my items in the office until my room was ready which was super helpful and they even put my stuff in our room later. The room wasn't the one I saw online with the pretty walk in shower, it ended up being an ADA room which isn't the worst - just not the shower experience I was expecting because it was a small hose situation that had a weird angle into the shower, I'm not tall so I imagine it was more uncomfortable for my 6 ft dad. The space itself was pretty clean. There were a few small things that could be touched up like the caulking by the bathroom sink and a small stain on the linens but not enough to make me want to stay somewhere else. The bed was comfy but if you get a street facing room - you need ear plugs or a sound machine. I saw other reviews saying the rooms came with a sound machine but I am guessing you have to request it. I used ear plugs and was able to sleep but that may have been exhaustion from all the activities we did. My dad did have trouble sleeping because he doesn't like to use ear plugs. The el is loud - like comically so at times. I did see if we could get moved to a different room but they were booked up. We made it work.
The room is very clean, full kitchen, living room, carpets and sofa need revamping, bedroom is nice, bathroom clean and all well kept, washer and dryer as well, honestly other than carpets.and sofa the room is beautiful and clean, very convenient location right next to millenium park, right across from target, tj maxx, halal boys, dunkin donuts, everything is close especially the park, only reason gave a 4 was the entrance to building is pretty beat up and honestly the consistent 24 hr noise from train station that is non ending day and night.
