Duane Street Hotel Tribeca, Belvilla District 6 Formerly Sonder  |  Apartment in Tribeca

The check in process was a little challenging because we did not get the information for online check in, but Ravi was amazing, warm and welcoming, and helped us through check in. The location is very convenient.

This is a very run down hotel in lower Manhattan. The entire property was pretty worn and there was a strange, abandoned cafe in the entry. The room we had was basically on the street and while the windows did a good job of blocking the sound, the constant door slamming in the hallway and stairwell more than made up for that. The shower didn’t work, there were no cups, the TV took about 15 mins of troubleshooting before it would work. We asked to be moved as soon as we saw the room but were told that wasn’t possible. I travel a ton for work and I can’t remember staying in a worse hotel. I would avoid this if you can.

Clean room, helpful staff, great area. Had a refrigerator but not a microwave. Bed was comfy even though only slept in for four hours.

They kick us out early because they were closing doors. We had to rush out of the hotel way earlier than our check out time.

The room wasn't the cleanest, it was good enough but not the Marriott's quality. One of the days, the ac was bringing in the worst garlic smell. The bathtub had some leftover cleaning detergent which we weren't able to use...

Service was amazing! Everyone was so sweet and helpful. Rooms were clean and cozy.

Very weird stay, I never talked to any person or saw any person working there. No front desk no cleaning staff. Rust all over the shower. The room is so tiny you open the door and it almost hits the bed. I can not believe the price point for how strange and tiny it was it didn’t give me a hotel vibe at all. I should’ve cancelled when I read the other bad reviews. Only thing good was location.

This is a nice place to stay.
