Trastevere Renovated Perfect Central Location speed Wifi Special Offer | Apartment in Trastevere, Rome

While the property itself for very nice, its location is not as convenient as it seems. It is located in south trastevere which requires you to still uber/public transport into the main trastevere area.

Gianmarco was very welcoming. The flat was really nice and in good condition. The immediate neighbourhood is not the prettiest but it's close to the nice bits of Trastevere and very convenient for the trains

Amazing location! Safe, walkable distance from restaurants, supermarkets and surprisingly close to the Trastevere Station. Close from every landmark by train or bus. But Gianmarco, is something else, he is a spectacular host. Definitely an outstanding place and an incredible host! 100% recommend!

The host was very welcoming and provided some coffee, pastries, bottled water, and some wine/beer on our arrival. The unit is clean, well equipped, and had a newly remodeled bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Having the washing machine in the unit was a major plus. The apartment was very convenient to the train station and public transit (5 min walk), with some free options for getting to the city center. Although the apartment is not in the heart of the Trastevere area, there were plenty of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance and a grocery store nearby. It was nice to be in a more "local" neighborhood and away from the tourist areas. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again if we travel to Rome in the future.

The neighborhood isn’t the most attractive.

Very close to Trastevere Metro station which was good, however quite a distance from the Trastevere neighbourhood. More like Monteverde. Outside area quite dirty 30 steps to apartment door. Any noise on stairwell is quite loud within the apartment. Bathroom basin plug needs repairing. Host knew we were a mother and son travelling together but arriving separately, however sofa bed was not ready, and ‘housekeeping’ did not then show up to make the bed that afternoon as promised, leaving us to pillage bedding from the main bed and make it ourselves.

The place is not in TRASTEVERE neighbourhood but rather at the Trastevere train station. Very convenient for access to transit, otherwise not much of a neighbourhood. The apartment was clean and had all the basics.

Gianmarco was an outstanding host and extremely kind and patient with our questions and requests. He is highly rated for a reason! The property is wonderfully located near one of the main train stations and it makes transportation around Rome and to and from the airport very accessible. Thank you,Gianmarco!

Enjoyed our stay! Very close to the train, bus, Sunday market, and good food! Would recommend! The host is also so sweet, and left us with so many great resources and some welcome treats!

Travelers beware the neighborhood does not match the owner’s posted photos nor does the apartment have a dryer or a fireplace as listed (unless hanging clothes out to dry counts as a dryer - tough to do when it’s raining). After a couple hours at the place and after my adult son explored the surrounding areas, we chose to not stay at the property. Rather we reserved a hotel room, deciding it was worth eating the cost of this booking. The owner is a nice person but perhaps unaware of the importance of listing accuracy.
