Select the link within the ‘Please complete your pre-arrival verification now’ message you received in your Airbnb messaging inbox right after booking. A new tab will open in your internet browser.

Find your reservation:
Review the reservation information on the ‘Find your reservation’ page, and select ‘Continue.’
You’ll be redirected to the booking confirmation page on Sonder.com, where you'll see the verification steps you need to complete based on local regulations. Normally, this includes the following steps.

Verify your phone number:
You will receive a verification code via SMS to the phone number associated with your Airbnb account. Enter the 4-digit verification code into the provided textbox.

Verify your identity:
You may be asked to upload images or enter the information of all guests’ IDs and personal information to be compliant with local regulations; however, most guests will be required to scan an ID and take a few selfies using Persona, a trusted third-party verification provider (for more information, please review the Sonder Biometric Data Privacy Notice).
Begin by selecting the country that issued your ID and the type of ID you’re using. When prompted, allow camera access to the browser you are using. Scan the front and back of your ID or the entirety of your passport portrait page. Once complete, follow the prompts to capture an image of your face – position yourself in the center of the camera and then move your face left and right as instructed by the app.

As soon as you complete the pre-arrival verification, and we have reviewed your necessary information, we will promptly send you a message with detailed information about your reservation. Access details will be sent to your Airbnb messaging inbox 24 hours before your scheduled arrival time.
