- Navigate to the ‘Required next step for your reservation with Sonder’ email:
Select the ‘Complete reservation’ link within the body of the Verification Request Email you received from [email protected]. A new tab will open in your internet browser. - Enter your email address:
When prompted, enter your email address and select ‘Get started.’ - Log in or create a new Sonder account:
If you are a returning Sonder guest, enter the password associated with your Sonder account and select ‘Log in.’
If you’re a new Sonder guest, create a password and enter your name, phone number, birthday, and home address before selecting ‘Continue.’ - Verify your phone number:
You will receive a verification code via SMS to the phone number on file. Enter the verification code into the Sonder App. - Add a card on file for incidentals:
Enter your credit card details and billing details for incidentals. For more information about incidental deposits, visit Does Sonder charge a security deposit? - Verify your identity:
You may be asked to upload images or enter the information of all guests’ IDs and personal information to be compliant with local regulations, but most guests will be required to scan an ID and take a few selfies using Persona, a trusted third-party verification provider (for more information, please review the Sonder Biometric Data Privacy Notice).
Begin by selecting the country that issued your ID and the type of ID you’re using. When prompted, allow camera access for the browser you are using. Scan the front and back of your ID or the entirety of your passport portrait page. Once complete, follow the prompts to capture an image of your face - position yourself in the center of the camera and then move your face left and right as instructed by the app. - Be on the lookout for further information and/or your access instructions:
If we need more information, we’ll reach out via email detailing the next steps. As soon as you complete the pre-arrival verification and we have all your necessary information, we will promptly send you an email with detailed stay information about your reservation. Access details will be available on the Sonder App and sent via email 72 hours before your arrival.
